Learning Outcomes

The course aims to introduce students to basic concepts, definitions and design principles related to wastewater treatment. After successfully completing the course, the student will be able to:

  • Use methodologies for estimating pollution load, treatment processes, basic principles of WWTPs design
  • Select the most appropriate treatment processes
  • Design WWTPs
