Quality Assurance Policy of the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering

The quality assurance policy of the ChEnvEng School is harmonized with the quality policy of the Technical University of Crete (TUC) and is inextricably linked to the Foundation's strategy.

The School implements a quality assurance policy, which supports the academic character and the orientation of the curriculum, promotes its purpose and objectives, implements its strategic goals and determines the means and ways of achieving them. Furthermore, it applies the indicated quality procedures, with final aim that of its continuous improvement. The particular policy pursues specific objectives, related to the quality assurance of study programs offered by the School.

The Vision / Mission of the School is to offer high quality, scientific know-how and skills to its graduates in both core and discrete axes: the science of (a) Chemical Engineering, and (b) Environmental Engineering, by setting up an interdisciplinary and innovative cradle for education and cutting edge research in Greece.  In particular, the School serves educational, research, and wider social goals, within a framework of principles of scientific ethics, accountability, sustainable development and social cohesion.

The School's Strategic Objectives span over five axes:

1. High-level education, with an emphasis on student-centered learning.
