- Introduction to GIS.
- Collection - digitalization - data storage.
- Models and spatial data structures.
- Basic editing digital geographic data and analysis.
- Mapping data.
- Applications of GIS.
Laboratory exercises:
- Nine laboratory exercises- individual reports: 70% of the Lab grade
- Final written Lab exam: 30% of the Lab grade
Assessment and grading method:
- Lab work, 30% of the grade
- Problem sets, 20% of the grade
- Final closed-book written exam, 50% of the grade
