The new research project SUMMAR

Research project: Uncertainty-aware intervention design for Mediterranean aquifer recharge,  SUMMAR: Sustainable Managed Mediterranean Aquifer Recharge (2019-2021)

This research project aims to deliver a suitability assessment to select the most suitable locations for aquifer recharge providing long-term access to water, support farmers activities, and serve as a guideline for decision makers in similar settings throughout the Mediterranean region.

The project partners are the school of Environmental Engineering, Technical University of Crete and the UNESCO-IHE Delft, Netherlands. The research project is funded by Prince Albert II of Monaco foundation.
