  • Introduction to the basic concepts of the Environmental Engineering Science - Measurements and calculations in Environmental Engineering - Mass Balance - Chemistry and pollution – Limits and constants for water, air, soil

  • Seminars: Case studies – Special issues in Environmental Engineering.

Laboratory exercises:

  • Ten lab exercises - team reports: 60% of the Lab grade
  • Final written lab exam: 40% of the Lab grade

Assessment and grading method:

  • One problem set (optional), 30% of the grade
  • Final closed-book written exam, 70% of the grade
