Για να π εριοριστούν, και ιδανικά να μηδενιστ ούν, αυτές, πρέπει να υιοθετηθεί ένα ς βιώσιμος τρόπος παραγωγής αγαθών. \n Για να ενισχυθεί η προσπάθεια αυτ ή, έχει εισαχθεί μία νέα οδηγία της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης, αυτή των Digital Product Passports (DPP). Στο ψηφιακό αυτό διαβατήριο περιέχονται λεπτομέ ρειες που συλλέγονται καθ’ όλη τη δι άρκεια του κύκλου ζωής ενός προϊόντο ς ή υπηρεσίας. \n Η παρούσα διπλωματ ική εργασία επικεντρώνεται στη μελέτ η των DPP. Αναλύεται ο τρόπος δημιου ργίας τους, τα στοιχεία που πρέπει ν α περιέχονται σε αυτά και οι τρόποι απεικόνισής τους. Επιπροσθέτως, παρο υσιάζονται τα πλεονεκτήματά τους αλλ ά και οι προκλήσεις που εμφανίζονται κατά τη δημιουργία τους. Σημειώνετα ι πως, αν και δεν είναι ακόμα υποχρε ωτική η εφαρμογή τους, ήδη εφαρμόζον ται σε αρκετά προϊόντα και υπηρεσίες . Μέρος αυτών παρουσιάζεται στη συγκ εκριμένη εργασία. \n Για να αποδειχθ εί η χρησιμότητά τους, αναζητήθηκαν και συγκεντρώθηκαν δείκτες βιωσιμότη τας, περιβαλλοντικοί, κοινωνικοί και οικονομικοί. Σκοπός των δεικτών είν αι η ποσοτικοποίηση της ολικής βιωσι μότητας ενός προϊόντος.  Αυτοί υπολο γίστηκαν με βάση τα δεδομένα μιας βι ομηχανίας παραγωγής χυμού πορτοκαλιώ ν, η οποία εξασφαλίζει το σύνολο της απαιτούμενης ηλεκτρικής της ενέργει ας από ορυκτά καύσιμα. Στη συνέχεια, υπολογίστηκαν ακόμα τρεις φορές, αυ ξάνοντας το ποσοστό ΑΠΕ σε 10, 40 κα ι 70%. Συγκεντρώνοντας τα αποτελέσμα τα των δεικτών αυτών, αναλύθηκε η αύ ξηση της βιωσιμότητας του συστήματος .\n Abstract:\n The constantly chang ing state of the natural environment and the impacts of climate change h ave become increasingly noticeable i n recent decades. To limit, and idea lly eliminate, these impacts, a sust ainable way of producing goods must be adopted.\n To enhance this effort , a new directive from the European Union has been introduced, that of D igital Product Passports (DPP). This Digital Product Passport contains d etails collected throughout the life cycle of a product or service.\n Th is thesis focuses on the study of DP Ps. It analyzes how they are created , the elements that must be included in them, and the ways they are repr esented. Additionally, their advanta ges and the challenges that arise du ring their creation are presented. I t is noted that, although their impl ementation is not yet mandatory, the y are already applied to several pro ducts and services. Part of these is presented in this work.\n To demons trate their usefulness, sustainabili ty indicators—environmental, social, and economic—were sought and gather ed. The purpose of the indicators is to quantify the overall sustainabil ity of a product. These were calcula ted based on the data of an orange j uice production industry, which secu res all of its required electrical e nergy from fossil fuels. Subsequentl y, they were calculated three more t imes, increasing the percentage of r enewable energy sources to 10%, 40%, and 70%.
